June AR Custom Build Class

We congratulate Branden Lanham, the first student to complete our new Custom AR Build class. Using part of his energy to build the gun and the rest of his energy to contain the excitement. As a teacher, Michael had a great time as well.

After the gun was all buttoned up and the safety/function testing was complete, the weapon was presented to the new builder/owner. Branden quickly found the gun’s rhythm and was doing a steel concerto.

Jungle Walk

June also saw the opening of our Jungle Walk! An eighth of a mile escorted trail through the heart of Indiana’s hardwoods. Steel targets at varying distances create an addictive challenge for shooters of all abilities. Waking or running against the clock, your enjoyment is assured!

Fitting with the current political climate and seemingly endless attacks on all of our constitutional rights, our jungle walk was transformed into a challenging Bill of Rights Walk .. just in time for our Independence Day celebration.

Milk & Bread Action Report

Milk & Bread Run

On June 26, a handful of the dutiful and dedicated answered the call to stop for milk & bread on the way home from work. What confronted them as they attempted to leave the grocery was terrifyingly realistic! Faced with numerous antagonists, and even a couple of hostage takers, the market goers were forced to fight their way out of the parking lot.

Gladly, we can report that all were able to accomplish their mission, returning safely home with the requested Milk & Bread and NO HOSTAGES were harmed during this exercise!

Exciting New and Challenging Courses for Everyone

The Milk & Bread Run was exited via our new Jungle Run. It quickly became a pursuit for personal best as the shooters ran against the clock on this very long and hot day. Best time of the day was one minute and thirty six seconds with all required hits recorded.

All left fulfilled, smiling, and much more confident about their ability to handle any adverse or dangerous situation they might encounter.

Upcoming Events

After a hot and rainy June, July and August are quickly booking up with private events catering to women, beginner pistol and long range training and competition sessions. Even with these bookings, our new split pistol range allows multiple and varied users to access the range at the same time.

Please contact us with your special requests.

Until next time, keep shooting straight and by all means, be safe!
